Kathryn Goshorn

Kathryn Goshorn (b. 1991) is a Brooklyn-based artist building images in the depiction of the human condition, the purpose of life, and how behavior can affect its quality. Her work contemplates a duty to understand the space we take up and our influence as we move through the world and interact, leaving those echoes of action, or cause and effect, where the effect is irreparable and one is left to speculate about the cause. Goshorn has shown in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe. She is the recipient of grants including the LCU Fund for Women and the Chubb Post-Graduate Fellowship. She earned her BA from the University of Georgia and her MFA from the New York Academy of Art in 2015.
